in addition to these local good causes, we regularly send money to deserving national and international charities and relief organisations. For example, we have just (April 2022) sent £4000 for relief of poverty in Ukraine, a charity which has been organised by Lions Clubs International, our parent body.

All the money we raise after direct expenses goes towards our charities. Administrative costs are met by a modest monthly subscription paid by Lions (currently £6).

No individual Lion receives any of the money we raise. All our efforts are given on a voluntary basis.
