There are a lot of websites covering English Romanticism. The following is a partial list.

We would be grateful to have our attention drawn to other similar sites.

The primary aim of The Wordsworth Centre is to promote interest in Wordsworth and the Lake District at an undergraduate, postgraduate and wider level. It is also interested in exploring wider questions about poetry and landscape, poetry and conservation, and in looking ahead from Romantic poetry to the present day.

This is a collaborative project between Lancaster University and The Wordsworth Trust. It involves manuscript materials for two Wordsworth texts (early Prelude material and Home at Grasmere) which are both about the importance of place to the writing of poetry – either in escaping from a hostile environment through writing poetry that draws on memories of place, or in celebrating a final home-coming to the Lakes.
