I organised a Kite Festival in Allendale on One Sky One World weekend, 11-12 October 2008, with the support of the Allendale Lions Club. The weather was very supportive and the 30 or more fliers attracted over 1000 visitors, many of whom had never been to kite festival before. Kite fliers and spectators alike all enjoyed themselves.
